  1. Hey Cris. Just starting 3 sets in phase 1 on your program, seriously doing some very good things to the ol body. Off to Indo on a 14 day boat trip in a few months, what snacks / protein bars etc would you recommend I bring? What I appreciate the most is sugar in it’s retail form (sweets etc) but I know that that is straight indulgence. I have previously also bought stuff from cycling shops…

  2. JamieBurrows1 it’s getting you moving!  glad to hear that.   take a look at the Recovery Secrets video as well… all the upper body tissue release with the tennis ball will be really useful for post-surf tissue release to keep things moving well and keep you from getting too much muscle spasm.      usually those boats are pretty good about having fruit etc for snacks, which is a damn good snack.   bring some good quality celtic sea salt, to put on your fruit, or put a pinch in your water…  gotta get those electrolytes back into your system and actually help you absorb the water you’re drinking.   if you’re in the states prior, Larabar are a decent bar, with most of the glucose coming from dates.  BCAA’s (you can buy a bottle of them), can help get some quality amino acids into the body… as a quick snack usually makes it tough to sit down and eat a steak.  that’s why i’ll usually go with fruit, some BCAA’s, some good salt… and then go surf your ass off.    honey in water, with some celtic sea salt… good recovery drink there too!    enjoy that indo trip man!
