So ask yourself these questions:
When you get in the ocean, how does your body feel?
Are you fluid, strong, and powerful? Or flailing, out of breath, and frustrated?
Gassed out arms and breath? A low back that's pissed from 30 minutes of paddling?
That sounds damn frustrating.
The art and skill of surfing can't be built upon a body that is stiff, weak, overweight, and unhealthy.
